Q: What is Community Access Television?

The Saratoga Community Access Cable TV Foundation is a non-profit organization responsible for operating the public, educational, and government access channels for the community of Saratoga. Serving Saratoga since 1986, the Foundation operates two cable channels: KSAR15 and KEDU26. Channel 15 is available for the use of public community access and government access. Channel 26 is operated by West Valley College and is used for educational programming. Our two cable channels serve to inform and entertain our community with non-profit, local programming and government affairs, as well as providing the educational, arts and distance learning programs of West Valley College.

Q: Where is the station located?

The KSAR15 studio is located on the West Valley College campus, located at the corner of Fruitvale Avenue and Allendale Avenue in Saratoga, California.

Our studio is located near Parking Lot 7 (what is usually considered the back side of the campus). Along the Campus Drive where it passes by Parking Lot 7, there is a stop sign with a sign to our TV Studio. The crossing at that sign leads to a bridge. The first building on the other side of the bridge is the KSAR15 studio.
